Pet Training

One-on-one basic obedience Training

Getting your pet on the right track starts with teaching cues in familiar, low-distraction environments to enhance concentration and minimize stress. For newly acquired pets with little real-world experience, or any pet with hypersensitivity issues towards any distraction, one-on-one basic obedience training is usually the best course of action.

Your trainer will teach you and your pet the most relevant skills and closely monitor your progress, all the while providing you with the convenience of working at the location of your choice. Choose between a pay-as-you-go option and a 4-session package.  Both dogs and cats are eligible for this program.

Wholistic Woofers Group Obedience Training Membership (Coming Soon)

When training a dog for reliability in public, partaking in group classes is usually the next step. Because each dog learns at a different pace and may need to work on different core behaviors from his or her peers, we offer membership programs for access to the classes you want and need as opposed to the one-size-fits-all approach other group class programs offer.

Upon starting your membership program, you will meet one of our trainers for a one-on-one consultation before attending your first group session.  During your consult, your pet will be evaluated for aptitude in core behaviors on site, after which the pet parent will receive a printed plan on which classes to take. Six hourly sessions, which you can take anytime within a 60-day period, will be included in the package.

Puppy Social Training Primer - For pups ages 2mos to 4mos (Coming Soon)

Proper socialization must be addressed early in a dog's life to greatly improve the odds of overall success.  Because the socialization window genearlly closes by 16 weeks of age, puppy owners need a program that nurtures their pups' social side without introducing force and fear.  Our Puppy Social Training Primer is just the program for that.

Our puppy primer membership, open to puppies between 2 and 4 months of age, includes sessions that run 45 minutes each.  It gives your puppy an opportunity to not only socialize with other puppies but also improves attentiveness toward you when paired with a couple of simple exercises.  As a bonus, you will be eligible to attend workshops relating to touch socialization and crating for free to help with overall home management.

Memberships come as a 4, 6 or 8 session plan, which should be chosen based on how old your puppy will be at his or her final session.

AKC Canine Good Citizen Bootcamp

For dogs that aspire to do more than just be a trained housepet, the AKC Canine Good Citizen Training Program gives you the start you need to do just that.  This class is an especially important step for any dog hoping to do therapy work or any socially relevant activity.

This program consists of five prep classes plus a sixth session to perform this 10-item test.  Once your dog has successfully completed the program, you can apply to receive the official CGC certificate from the AKC, which you can show to those who need proof of testing.
